Fire Station / Police Station Outing

Yesterday was our much anticipated fire station outing! 

The kids were LOVING this one but unfortunately, about twenty minutes into our tour, it got cut short by a call.  The kids were disappointed but I thought it was a great way to end the tour, to see the firemen leave all dressed up in their full uniforms with lights and sirens on!

I think this was one of the favorite outings so far so we'll have to try it again and hopefully get the full tour next time!  Thanks to Stephanie for saving our outing! :)

Fire Department Outing

Our next outing is a tour of the Beaumont Fire Department this Wednesday the 30th at 10:00 am.  The address is 628 Maple Ave in Beaumont.  This one should be really exciting for the kiddos!  Lets try to meet there a few minutes before 10:00 since our actual appointment for the tour is set to start at 10:00.

Little Lambs Park Day

This week we have a park day scheduled BUT it's supposed to be rainy and cold so we're going to cancel the park.  The Chatigny Rec Center has a storytime on Wednesday Mornings from 11:15 - 12:00 so I figured this would be a good backup for our park days that get cancelled due to bad weather.

 

The address is 1310 Oak Valley Parkway in Beaumont.  The storytime takes place on the second floor in room two or three.  They read stories and do interactive songs and dancing.  If your child is really little and/or won't sit still for a story - don't worry!  There's lots of little ones wandering around so it's ok!
